New for 2016, we have just installed a new 3D CT machine. This exciting new addition allows us to custom order the dental implant that fits your mouth; potentially allowing you to avoid other surgeries, such as additional bone grafting and sinus lifts.
Traditionally, a surgeon would cut your gum back when placing a dental implant. Every time the gum is cut back, however, bone is lost. Interestingly, we have observed that most of the discomfort experienced with a dental implant is related to the healing of the gums. With the combination of 3D imaging and surgical guides, bone is preserved and the entire experience is more comfortable.
Surgical Guides
Dr. Jarom accomplishes successful implant results with the least amount of surgery. The Sirona Orthophos SL connects seamlessly to 3D printers to make surgical guides. These guides are fantastic. Not only do they make sure the dental implant goes exactly where it was planned, but it greatly simplifies the surgical procedure. This lowers your actual time in the chair to about as long as it takes to get a couple of fillings.
